The Great Exhibition site

The Crystal Palace building which housed the Great
Exhibition occupied the West end of the site bounded by
Rotten Row to the North, South Carriage Drive to the
South, and West Carriage Drive to the West. The main
entrance was on the South side of the building, slightly
North East of the Prince of Wales Gate (which is shown
with only the West Lodge in place on this 1850 proposed

The four corners of the building, and the main entrance,
